Topics in AMO physics:Visualization of the Invisible
One of the most interesting areas in present time is visualization instrumentations for the very small photon flux, up to single photon (quantum level). This area covers the application from quantum optoelectronic systems to night vision systems and human eye capability. The main topic is physics of photons and physics of photon detection with modern instrumentation, in particular, advance optoelectronic semiconductor structures.Will be discussed the principle novel photon detection structures-Silicon Photomultipliers, for now is most perspective development in the optoelectronic for low photon flux.

Prof. Dr. Saveliev receives PhD from National Research Nuclear University (Moscow Physics and Engineering Institute -MEPhI), Moscow, Russia. He holds professorship now at MEPhI in Russia and Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China.
